What to expect

Time: Wednesdays, 9.15 AM or 10.45 AM Duration: 1-hour Instructor: Em Cook Location: North Fremantle Community Hall This week, we explore the symptoms of unexpected outbursts, rage, irritability, wanting to express an opinion, and not feeling heard, which can be elevated during perimenopause and post-menopause. We start by explaining what causes these symptoms and sharing our experiences. It helps to know you are not alone! Then, we'll explore a cooling practice to soothe heated emotions and rebalance the kidneys, liver, and spleen—organs associated with anger and fire. You can learn which techniques help you soothe tension and stress. We take a fun and nurturing approach, so you'll leave feeling supported. You don't need any yoga experience. It's a great intro to yoga! Join the free session from 10.15 to 10.45 a.m. to discuss information on why we experience symptoms, symptom-specific techniques, nutrition, and supplements. We’ll invite guest speakers such as nutritionists, naturopaths, sports trainers and medical practitioners to share their knowledge weekly. Facilities Yoga gear is provided, including mats, bolsters, blankets, eye pillows, straps, blocks, and massage balls. What to bring Please consider bringing a water bottle, journal and pen. You are welcome to bring your own gear, especially your favourite blanket and cosy socks. Investment Single class: $25, Course Package: Receive all six classes for $120. Hi, I'm Em 

I lead all Little Glimmer classes and Retreats. 

I'm a certified yoga instructor (Level 1 Tamara Yoga 350hr Teacher Training) and an accredited Menopause Yoga teacher.

I’m not a perfect teacher (no arm balances or headstands here!) I’m playful, philosophical, and nurturing.

I love how yoga teachers can mention one little story or a slice of yogi philosophy that reaches you at just the right time. I hope to bring this kind of little glimmer to you one day.
