Towards Samadhi Workshop

Journey beyond asana poses—from pranayama to samadhi—exploring breath, meditation, and oneness


What to expect

Want to get yoga nerdy with me? The foundation of yoga is the 8 limbs, and most of our practice falls under the 3rd limb—Asana, the physical poses. Here we travel through limbs 4-8: from breath to concentration to meditation to those little glimmers of samadhi. 🌬️ What We'll Explore We'll spend the first 90 minutes exploring pranayama (4th limb)—building your breath toolkit with 6-8 techniques, exploring how each one shifts your mood, energy, and nervous system differently. Then we'll transition into pratyahara (5th limb—sense withdrawal), practice dharana (6th limb—single-pointed concentration), and settle into dhyana (7th limb—meditation). And somewhere in that stillness? Little glimmers of samadhi (8th limb)—those brief moments of oneness. It’s most certainly not guaranteed, but we’ll experiment with how to get there. ✨ What You'll Walk Away With You'll leave with breath exercises for anxiety, sleep, focus, and calm; practical dharana and dhyana techniques for home practice; an understanding of how the inner limbs work together; recognition of samadhi moments in your everyday life; and a printed guide to key practices. This isn't abstract philosophy—it's experimenting with what lands for you. 🌱 What's Included All props provided, including mats, bolsters, blankets, and meditation cushions. You'll receive a comprehensive workbook with all breath techniques, meditation practices, and the philosophy behind each limb. Just bring water, maybe a journal, and curiosity about what lies beyond the mat. 📍 Location & Details The workshop runs from 1-4 pm at North Fremantle Community Hall, 2 Thompson Road, North Fremantle. Free parking is available directly in front of the hall, plus additional street parking on Thompson Road. The hall is wheelchair accessible—look for the first door on the right. Spaces are intentionally limited to 12 people to maintain an intimate atmosphere for deeper exploration. Investment is $65 per workshop. For the yoga nerds, the philosophy geeks, the ones ready to go deeper. Book early to secure your spot.

Hi, I'm Em 

I lead all Little Glimmer classes and Retreats. 

I'm a certified yoga instructor (Level 1 Tamara Yoga 350hr Teacher Training) and an accredited Menopause Yoga teacher.

I’m not a perfect teacher (no arm balances or headstands here!) I’m playful, philosophical, and nurturing.

I love how yoga teachers can mention one little story or a slice of yogi philosophy that reaches you at just the right time. I hope to bring this kind of little glimmer to you one day.
