I wish I'd handled that better
I Wish I'd Handled That Better: Sankalpa and Self-Compassion

You know that feeling when you come away from a situation and think... oh, I wish I'd been a bit more patient there.
Or: I could have said that more kindly. Or: I really didn't need to lose my cool over that.
We've all got things we're working on, don't we?
Perhaps that gap — between how you reacted and how you wish you'd been — that's the true you, encouraging you to be more intentional. To tend towards your values.
This week we're coming back to Sankalpa (sun-KAL-pa) — a Sanskrit word for heartfelt intention. San means a connection with your highest truth. Kalpa means a solemn vow.
The shift isn't I will try to be more patient. It's I am patient.
On the mat this week, we'll use mudras and mantras to bring feeling and focus behind that intention.
Come to Flow to Restore
I'm off to Bali — celebrating our collective 50ths with a wonderful bunch of friends.
Big love, Em x
