Pratyahara: A Do Not Disturb Sign for the Senses

Please don't disturb door hanger

We were away from the usual to-dos. Away from looking after other people. Away from the ping and the pull of everything waiting for us at home.

It felt like a giant Do Not Disturb sign was protecting us.

Practising 'Do Not Disturb' isn't just a no to interruptions.

It's a yes to time coming home to yourself — rest, meditation, deep work.

The yogis know this as pratyahara — the practice of withdrawing the senses. Consciously turning down the world's volume to draw within.

Big love, Em x
