Our daily worries vs. the Milky Way...
Vismaya: Our Daily Worries vs the Milky Way

You know that feeling? Standing at the edge of the ocean, or looking up at a star-filled sky, or walking into a cathedral that makes you gasp with awe?
That feeling of being incredibly small and infinitely connected at the same time. The Sanskrit word for this is vismaya - that wonder that strikes you when you encounter vastness.
When wonder strikes, it captures our full attention and our worries slip into the background.
About our place on this tiny speck we call Earth, Michael Singer puts it perfectly: "You're just standing on one little ball of dirt spinning around one of the stars. From that perspective, do you really care what people think about your clothes?"
This week we're exploring what happens when we zoom out. When we remember we're not the star of the movie - we're one beautiful thread in an infinite tapestry. Not to feel insignificant, but to feel connected.
Join me as we quiet the left brain chatter and open to what Dr. Jill Bolte Taylor called "the sea of silent euphoria."
Big love, Em x
