Bopping Along to Life's Unpredictable Rhythm

Bopping along to life’s unpredictable rhythm
Even though it’s cold and stormy outside, I envision bopping away in the ocean—happily bopping with life's unpredictable rhythm, riding the ups and downs.
Bopping has a sense of going with the flow. It’s more than just treading water and keeping afloat; it’s buoyant like humming a song when you don’t know the words, just enjoying where the moment is taking you.
My wish for you is to be buoyant.
Alan Watts says it beautifully:
"To have faith is to trust yourself to the water. When you swim, you don't grab hold of the water because if you do you will sink and drown. Instead, you relax and float."
"We are all floating in a tremendous river, and the river carries you along. Some of the people in the river are swimming against the current, but they are still being carried along. Others have learned that the art of the thing is to swim with it. You have to flow with the river. There is no other way. You can swim against it and pretend not to be flowing with it. But you still flow with the river."
