"I'm Hear for You": The Gift of Listening

We've all heard "I'm here for you." This week I'm thinking "I'm hear for you."
One of the deepest expressions of love — is truly listening, isn't it? Not waiting for our turn. Not half-present while we plan our reply. Truly leaning in.
Mark Nepo puts it this way:
"To listen is to lean in softly with a willingness to be changed by what we hear."
This willingness to be changed is an openness in real presence.
This week on the mat, we're contemplating all the ways we can listen — listen to people we love, listen to the body, to sensation, to the quiet beneath the noise.
Big love, Em x
