Paralysis of possibility
Paralysis of Possibility: When There Are Too Many Choices

We saw Alice (the ballet) over the holidays, and I was entranced when Alice faces all these moving doors, all these choices. She gets stuck in the paralysis of possibility. I can relate. I've always got a big " want -to-do-list" and sometimes it's hard to choose what to pay attention to.
This bit of advice helped me:
• List 25 things you want from life in order of priority
• Focus on the top 5
• Avoid the rest at all costs - they're tempting distractions from what matters most.
- Oliver Burkeman's book Four Thousand Weeks
"You need to start saying no to the things you want to do, with the recognition you only have one life." - Elizabeth Gilbert
I hope this resonates with you too!
