Who do you 'think' you are?
Who Do You "Think" You Are? Identity and Self-Talk

Who do you think you are? Notice the emphasis on "think"...?
So much of who we "think" we are is built from memories — things that happened, moments we keep revisiting. It's what people have told us about ourselves, and we believed it. It's the roles we've stepped into — mother, partner, helper, lawyer, daughter, the "uncoordinated one" — and somehow those roles started to feel like the whole truth of who we are.
But what if they're not?
Who could you be if you stopped identifying with an old belief of yourself?
This week in class, we drop negative identification so we can have fun, flow freely and rest.
Big love, Em x
